		<description>You can also protect the WP-ADMIN folder in WordPress by requiring a password. It requires an htaccess file in the wp-admin folder and a password file stored somwhere else. Definitely good for blog security.</description>

		<description>Nice tips there. Also there is a very high security tip available to secure the admin area 200%. I read it somewhere else. But the thing is to rename the admin folder to some random generated string. This is a surefire way to secure admin section. But it requires tedious work everytime the wordpress core is updated.</description>

People want to make passwords that are easy to remember, but when you have blog software that is widely used as Wordpress is, it doesn&#039;t take a 1337 H@x0r to compromise it.</description>
