Add more programs to your Quick launch toolbar using FreeLaunchBar

One of the most useful features that I use very often in Windows is the Quick Launch Toolbar that sits on the left side of the Taskbar, right next to the Start Button. It’s great because it allows you to open a program in one click only! Even if you have programs pinned to the Start Menu, you still have to click on the Start button to view them!

The start menu, quick launch and desktop icons are the most well known ways to launch applications and files in Windows. If you take a look at Apple’s operating system, the OS X, you will notice that Windows lacks the “dock” - an animated application launcher that displays file and folder shortcuts as well as minimized items and windows. The dock offers better productivity, quick access to applications from an intuitive interface and scores high in term of coolness too!

Automatically deleting undeletable files
…following on from Part 1 where we discussed the process by which you can delete ‘undeletable’ files manually, here we will discuss the automatic method, using a couple of super little freeware products.
If you don’t feel confident enough to use DOS and cmd prompts then there are several programs on the market both freeware and licensed that perform these deletion processes automatically. We won’t discuss the licensed ones here simply because there are free ones that do just the job.

Are you sick of seeing messages like these when you try and delete a file:
- ‘Cannot delete file: Access Denied’.
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file may be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Password protecting your Excel worksheet can prevent others from tampering with your data, but it can also be a great way to protect your other passwords as well. When using Microsoft Excel, there are many ways that you can password protect your spreadsheet.

One of the first and easiest methods is to password protect the entire sheet or workbook. To do this in Microsoft Excel 2007, first go to the Review tab and then click on Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook.
