Are you looking for a free ebook reader for your Palm handheld device, Smartphone, Pocket PC, or Symbian phone? Ebook readers that can handle all of the different ebook formats like TXT, HTML, PDB, UMD, etc can be hard to find on occasion, especially ones that work with your specific phone!

Amazing Ways To Format Cells in Excel 2007

If you are used to using older versions of Excel, the conditional formatting options in Excel 2007 will amaze you. Now, you can use conditional formatting to format every cell in a range based on your own criteria (and there are a lot more formatting options to choose from). For example, if you have a profit sheet that you want to color code all profits greater than $200 as green and all profits less than $200 as yellow and all losses as red, then it could take a while to do manually – especially if you have thousands of entries. Instead, use conditional formatting to do the work for you.

You really do have to love open-source. Open-source software is free and can often replace costly commercial apps, which is the case with Scribus, an open-source desktop publishing and page layout application that puts professional-looking documents within the reach of non-professionals like me, and maybe you. I’ve chosen to feature the portable version of Scribus because it is a lot simpler to download and install than its full-sized cousin. It works within the Portable Apps suite, featured in an earlier post on this blog.

IE 7, alone, is a complete installation of the latest version of the people’s endearing explorer.
Here are the changes that you could expect from the IE 7 download, as seen in the Description of the Windows Internet Explorer 7 Installation and Availability Update:
Add more programs to your Quick launch toolbar using FreeLaunchBar

One of the most useful features that I use very often in Windows is the Quick Launch Toolbar that sits on the left side of the Taskbar, right next to the Start Button. It’s great because it allows you to open a program in one click only! Even if you have programs pinned to the Start Menu, you still have to click on the Start button to view them!
Quickly Launch Applications in Windows with RocketDock

The start menu, quick launch and desktop icons are the most well known ways to launch applications and files in Windows. If you take a look at Apple’s operating system, the OS X, you will notice that Windows lacks the “dock” – an animated application launcher that displays file and folder shortcuts as well as minimized items and windows. The dock offers better productivity, quick access to applications from an intuitive interface and scores high in term of coolness too!
