Utterz is an interesting web service that lets you create rich media micro posts with text, audio, or video and have it automatically updated on your blog, web site, or FaceBook account directly from your cell phone! Too much for one sentence?

Here’s a quick breakdown of what the service is supposed to be used for: you suddenly have a thought, experience, or opinion that you want to share with all of your friends instantly, so you simply dial a number given to you by Utterz and record a voice “Utter” along with sending an email to go@utterz.com with a snapped picture from your camera phone and text. Pretty nifty.

miniMize is a nitfy little freeware application that can be used to remove minimized programs from the taskbar and instead create small thumbnail images on your desktop. For anyone who does not like their taskbar to be cluttered up, this program might be good for you. On the other hand, if you don’t want to have lots of icons on your desktop, it may not be!

A couple of weeks back I wrote about a cool MP3 music search engine called Seeqpod that can be used to find and listen to MP3 music online. Simply type in the name of the artist or of the song and Seeqpod would scours through it’s database of millions of songs and pulls out exactly what you’re looking for.

For some reason, it’s really annoyed me that with all of our technology, you still can’t make a dentist or doctors appointment online via a web-based scheduling system. Is it really that hard? Wouldn’t it be much easier for doctors offices to have their patients schedule themselves rather than having to call and manually type in the information?

Well, thankfully, someone else has thought of this and has actually made a really nice web-based scheduling system that you can use to make appointments with local dentists and doctors (the doctors part is still in beta, but dentists are available).

3 ways to maximize ad revenue by automating ad optimization

Online ad optimization is one of those things that has gone from pretty simple and easy to ridiculously complicated and confusing. Bloggers and webmasters can now pick from hundreds of advertising network to monetize their web sites, including big names like Google Adsense to speciality niche companies no one has ever heard of.

However, trying to pick and choose the best ads for your type of traffic and demographics is pretty much impossible. There are simply too many choices and too little time to try out and test different ad systems. Thankfully though, people have seen this as major problem and a few companies are starting to do something about it with automated ad optimization technologies.
